Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is more than philanthropy for Aerogen. It’s a sustained and sustainable investment in our community, and a conscious and committed effort to contribute in every possible way we can.

Through effective CSR outreach, we believe we can redefine how Aerogen can help enable change in the world.

We’re committed to our team’s well-being. We centre that commitment in our health, safety and environmental agenda, as well as by promoting diversity across the organisation.

Our purpose is centred around creating a better life for patients who benefit from Aerogen’s drug delivery technology, and we pledge to do business in an ethical manner that yields long-term, sustainable benefits for all our stakeholders.

We support and sponsor the education and development of students in local schools and colleges. Through our focus on diversity, equity and inclusion, we empower people to work together and advance possibilities through our focus on health, education and caring for communities.

We carry out our CSR projects and programmes under the umbrella of Pledge 1%, designing them to take into consideration the needs from the community. Many of the programmes we get involved with are long-term, which helps us to create sustainable impact.

What is Pledge 1%?

Pledge 1% is a global movement that inspires, educates, and empowers every entrepreneur, company, and employee to be a force for good. Over 10,000 members in 100 countries have used Pledge 1%’s flexible framework to ignite half a billion dollars in new philanthropy.

Our pledge 1% commitment is based on a simple idea: Make the most of our technology, people, and resources to improve the communities in which we operate. Over the past five years, we have given:

more than €500,000 in monetary donations
100’s of hours of employee time in support events and initiatives
provided product donations for multiple non-profits and education institutions.
